### 1. About us

These terms govern your use of moorbeer.co.uk and any purchases you make through it. By using this site and placing an order, you agree to these terms.

### 2. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol from this site. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over. We reserve the right to cancel any order where we reasonably believe the purchaser is under 18. Proof of age may be required at the point of delivery.

### 3. Ordering

When you place an order through our site, you are making an offer to buy. We will send you an order confirmation by email, but this does not mean we have accepted your order. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to: product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity. If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund.

### 4. Pricing

All prices on our site are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We take care to ensure pricing is accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover a pricing error on an order you have placed, we will contact you before dispatching and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

### 5. Payment

We accept payment via Shopify Payments, including credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is taken at the time of purchase. All transactions are processed securely.

### 6. Delivery

We deliver across the United Kingdom.

- **Orders over 50 pounds**: Free standard delivery.
- **Orders under 50 pounds**: 5.99 pounds flat rate for standard delivery.

Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout. While we aim to meet these estimates, delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any significant delays.

Beer is a perishable product. Please ensure someone aged 18 or over is available to receive the delivery. If a delivery cannot be completed, redelivery charges may apply.

### 7. Returns and refunds

Our full returns and refund policy is set out separately (see Refund Policy below). In summary: beer is a perishable product and cannot be returned once delivered unless it arrives damaged or is incorrect. We will always put things right if we have made a mistake.

### 8. Product descriptions and images

We make every effort to ensure our product descriptions and images are accurate. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. Beer is a live, natural product -- slight variations in appearance between batches are normal and reflect the nature of what we make.

### 9. Intellectual property

All content on this site -- including text, images, logos, design and software -- is the property of Moor Beer Co or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from this site without our written permission.

### 10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

- Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to your use of this site or your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or any products purchased.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

### 11. Events beyond our control

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where the failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, strikes, supply chain disruption, or government action.

### 12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

### 13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
