Raving 4 a Reason, was started by Hazel, a working full time single mum based in Essex, Hazel suffered the loss of her best friend Charmaine at just 34 years old, from lung cancer.
Charmaine became an inspiration with her own fundraising, to their strong friendship group in Essex, so much so Hazel decided to hold an event in the memory of Charmaine 5 years on from her passing for Macmillan in 2019. This included raising funds for a young local girl with a brain tumour, in the spirit of what would be Charmaine's unwavering & immediate support of her.
The event raised nearly £1,000 & everyone had an amazing time lending way to Raving 4 a Reason being born in the memory of Hazel's dear friend.

Since then Hazel has held local events for various charities including, The Craig Tyler Trust Mental Health, Cancer Research, 2 More Teenage Girls with Cancer, Lennox Children's Cancer Charity, Safe Steps Domestic Abuse, Jayline's sister following the Turkey Earthquakes and recently teamed up with ACMC to support knife crime awareness week & The Ben Kinsella Trust.
In the last 2 years Hazel has teamed up with The Buckle Bunker Studio and Underground Riddimz, who support with all her equipment & sounds needs at the events. Beyond this support they also open their respective studios in support of these causes whilst giving young people a platform that have a music passion.
Together Hazel's events & the Raving 4 a Reason team, have raised over £25,000 for charities & individuals in the Essex and Kent communities. Supported young talent such as Marxy, I Bot & Tay J Soundz, which has helped them on their journey.
Raving 4 a Reason is also supported by many headliners across many genres of music including garage, house, jungle and dnb. With artists such as Brockie, Cowboy Ranger, Jamie G, Rude boy Keith, ACMC, Spooka, Leanne Louise, Chalkie White, Blackley, Ruff Stuff, Thunda Banton, Ragga Twins plus more all stepping up to the charity plate.
With Jungle Warfare's own mission to Celebrate each & every Birthday in Aid of a Charity close to our hearts, we knew Raving 4 A Reason was the only choice for us to come on board to support Men's Mental Health. Asking them to support the charity aspect in aid of the Mens Health Forum, which is yet another cause that is close to Hazel's & the Raving 4 a Reason team's heart as well.
Being of like minds around building communities driven by music and continuing with our own ethos at Jungle Warfare to provide a platform that can Highlight, Support & Network everyone we work with, we couldn't be happier to bring Raving 4 A Reason to London and connect them with The Moor Vaults, for which you will be seeing more from them there later on in the year..... and to join together our Collective Communities for a Celebration & a great Cause.
